Farmer Registry System
Mandatory registration system that records farmer information at a central database that supports inquiries to ensure that agricultural support is traceable, auditable, and reportable
The Farmer Registry System (FRS) is an agricultural database of farmers created by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. FRS is a mandatory registration system that records farmer information at a central database that supports inquiries to ensure that agricultural support is traceable, auditable, and reportable.
FRS is a holistic collection of system that keeps records of personal information and assets (e.g. land, livestock, inputs, etc.) of farmers actively engaged in agricultural activities, as well as cropping patterns and average yields. Agricultural support is implemented, monitored, and audited through FRS, which also informs the creation of agriculture policies.
The Farmer Registry System provides official records, rather than statements, of data such as
